Globis Infotech Inc, creator of HTML5 technology-based contents authoring platform XELF, has recently participated in this year’s Edutech Asia, the biggest edutech exhibition in Asia held in Singapore.
XELF enables uses to create and share content on the web using HTML5-based technology. It is a cloud service that enables users to connect from anywhere, anytime to edit contents easily without having to install separate programs.
“Easily create content in a simple drag and drop way in your browser without installing complex programs. Anyone can easily create documents, content, and presentations without any special knowledge of HTML language,” Globis Infotech said on its website.
Documents and contents created by the user are stored in the cloud at the same time as it is written so these can be easily shared via email, SNS, or mobile.
Globis Infotech said it has received particular attention from many e-learning companies that are interested in using its authoring platform for content distribution.
During the Edutech Asia 2019 event in Singapore, Globis Infotech CEO Ahn Tae-Hwan said XELF has a competitive edge with interactive html5 games, education, and children’s contents.
He said the company participated in the event because Edutech Asia has been considered as the jumping board for edutech companies that seek to enter the world market.
XELF is expected to make breakthroughs in the contents market, Hwan said.
“Edutech Asia 2019 is the regular start of entering the global market. In the situation of contents market dominated by large OTT platforms, XELF has a competitive edge with interactive HTML5 games, education and children’s contents. On the other hand, existing contents are one-way video,” Ahn Tae-Hwan.
HTML5 technology got global attention when Adobe announced that it will discontinue providing support for Flash technology by 2020. HTML5 has been considered as a possible replacement by many.
